We are a pub first and foremost, serving great food daily, a whole host of fantastic weekly events such as a quiz, comedy nights, live jazz and tonnes more!

On the first floor an old Victorian music hall houses a huge retro Arcade that has to be seen to be believed!

Not necessarily! We happily accept bookings or walk ins at any time. If you prefer to book then please use our simple booking widget.

At any type of table you book, you’ll be able to eat, drink, and access the Arcade, Gin Yard, etc - a booking in a certain area doesn’t restrict where you can go - wander free!

If you do decide to book, and the time or type of table isn’t available, please try an alternative table type, or different time.

Please note: booking does not guarantee entry, as ever right of admission is at the discretion of the management. Management’s decisions are final.

Jeans and trainers are fine. Sadly, we don't allow fancy dress apart from special occasions such as Halloween, New Years Eve. We also do not allow team sports colours or tracksuits - we are a sport free haven!

We welcome under 18s until 8pm daily. At the bar, we operate a Challenge 25, where if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, we will ask for a valid, physical form of ID to prove you are over 18. On Friday and Saturday nights, we will operate this Challenge 25 policy on the door, and at times of our discretion, we may operate a no ID, no entry policy.

You can simply walk in to use the Arcade, there is no longer the need to book, and all of the activities can be used on a pay as you play basis. All the games in the Arcade now take contactless payments!

Moonshine Raceway - a full size race track where up to 10 drivers can race their remote controlled car in a bid to glory!

Virtual Reality - the world’s first in-pub fully immersive Virtual Reality experience! Up to 3 players at a time can play.

Loads of other games: Critter Racing Skee Ball, Gopher Racing Time Crisis, Dance Dance Revolution, Point Blank and more…. Now EVERYTHING in the Arcade takes CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS.

We absolutely love our furry friends here at The Four Thieves so please bring them along, all we ask is that they’re kept safely on a lead. It’s also worth mentioning that at busier times it can get quite loud for their cute little ears.

Unfortunately, we don’t feel our venue caters for the specific needs of a Stag or Hen party. We do hope you enjoy your celebrations elsewhere and extend our best wishes to the happy couple!
